This is a round trip at sunset around the historic city center and the island of St. Nikola. Poreč is the city of many faces. It was founded in 129 BC as the Roman Colonia Julia Parentium. Since then, it has become a picturesque touristic town influenced by different historical moments. After the fall of Roman Empire, Poreč was ruled by various emperors. Today’s visual image is dedicated to Venetians, Austrians, Italians and Yugoslavia. During your visit, your attention will be captivated by numerous sights and attractions. The most important is the Basilica Euphrasiana from the 6th century, included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. Once visiting Poreč the sightseeing is inevitable. Sightseeing from the sea level is our ultimate recommendation. The story of Poreč will be interpreted by a licensed tourist guide and with a bit of luck you will be accompanied by dolphins.
